COVID-19 Research
By: Edith Cowan University

Description

The COVID-19 pandemic context has highlighted the social support and services needed by everyone, including older adults, to stay happy and healthy in our lives. During this period, researchers at Edith Cowan University talked with older adults about how they coped during the pandemic. They met with service providers to find out how they have been able to support isolated and vulnerable adults in the community. We would love to share the key findings of these conversations with you in two posters.

Coping during social isolation shows the resilience of older adults have been resilient during COVID-19, as well as acknowledging the difficulties faced. Delivering care during social isolation offers practical tips for organisations to put into practice.
